Ruth has over 15 years experience in the field of interior design ,specializing in Retail and Corporate Design. Her expertise include Conceptual design development ,and project management
After graduating from Bellevue College in 1995 with Honors, Ruth had the privilege of working with The Retail Group in Seattle WA , until her return to Israel.
In Israel, Ruth worked as a store planner for Gal Yaari Designs, one of the countries leading design firms at the time, planning and designing Israel's largest department store chains
In May 1997 Ruth founded and successfully managed "Artemis, Strategic Planning & Design" The firm specialized in Retail, Corporate and Hospitality Design offering services that included Conceptual Design , full Architectural and Construction drawings and On-site supervision. Ruth also handled many of the International fashion brands opening in Israel such as Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Ninewest and many more, tailoring them to better suite the Israeli consumer.
During the 6 years of operation, Artemis designed over 170 stores, 36 Corporate offices , 17 Restaurants, 10 show homes, and much more.
In 2003 Ruth relocated to Vancouver pursuing her career and passion designing Retail and Corporate environments . The focus and objective is to "Design to Sell" tailoring each space to best suit the product or service offered by creating a back drop that allows the product to shine.
Latest Projects include Nando's Chickenland, Fab jeans, Kokopelli Cafe, Current and Medical Offices.
